An option in the settings menu that you're able to toggle; " Let users be able to view your battles? "
Because some people don't like other people seeing their strategies, other than that I think it's a good idea, pvp battles are interesting to watch.

Sure as hell wouldn't need to screenshot so much for accusing players of battle holding if people saw the battle as it was happening. Though honesty can be an issue.

Interrogating. Good point, it'd help a lot with BH'ing. Moderators would be allowed to watch the battles anyhow...?Though honesty can be an issue.

Then most likely it would not. But i belive that if what you're saying acctualy happens it should be decidd on a ramdom stat like speed/willpower. Whoever has those two stats higher than the other, his 'allow spectate' option would be chosen.
Yes chi. Moderators should be allowed to spectate battles regardless of the users 'allow spectate' option.

I agree... Watching battles would be nice, but how hard would it be to code something like this? Gotta take difficulty of the task into mind too. I don't really see a point of having a feature for turning it on and off, If you wanna have a fight without people seeing simply pick a location on the map "don't tell anyone but the person your fighting" and go fight. Also if added people watching shouldn't be able to see either players health or pools.

I think only health should be seen. You would'nt be able to see who is winning and what not

I think this would be amazing, It would help New players to learn how to Pvp without having to get pwned by some random uber. Along with making the game a little more active seeing as people get bored with just training and most people love to see fights. Seeing the HP would definitely need to be a yes, along with maybe making it auto-reload when the Pvp'er who's turn it is uses there move or moves around? And one last suggestion, Spice it up for the viewers, and maybe even the Pvp'ers too, but maybe adding in a betting system for the spectators? Nothing big, just like 1k-20k? and let the winner of the match get 1/4th of the amount bet on them?

Auto Refresh requires quite a bit of tweaking, but should be do'able~ After all, there's a chance that one misses a turn or two if one had to refresh manually.
Question btw, when spectating a battle, you'd still be able to access social and other things, correct? Also, would the user have to be in the same location?
The betting system sounds good too. :3

Why thank you. XD I'd say that yes the viewer would have to be in the same location, BUT, they should have a status that says viewing/spectating or whatever's decided to call it, much like when two players are in a battle, it says "in battle" and cant be attacked. That way viewers don't get attacked while watching set pvp. And yes, the other game features should work the same as those that are in the pvp.

Would bring a little problem: when spectating a battle in Kyoto, one could always just spectate, and reap AP without being attacked.
Disabled AP gain when spectating? Option to stop spectating at anytime should be there of course.

People have different definitions of 'Battle Holding', so this feature would only cause more friction between players (in my honest opinion). There are other simpler features that can be made to enhance gameplay, and be less stressful to make. But if you guys want that, cool.
The only thing standing in the way of this feature now is: Who's going to code something this complicated?
If this was a flash game, or some big MMO, it would be easier. I'm not saying it's impossible, but it's gonna be a lot of work. A group of players might have to agree to actually watch the battle before it takes place, and a new place to fight (like a 'Colosseum') might be needed for both races to go without fear of being attacked.

Coder will be an able, professional coder.
This isn't a feature that will be implemented any time soon with the current coders, nor is it an important one for the gameplay, but a feature that is on the "To do -list". Just something original'ish to be implemented. D:

Yes, disable the AP gain, BUT as the winner does get 10AP for winning, maybe make betting even better by letting the one who bet on set winner gain 5AP?

Mmm, I'd keep the AP gains sensible. =P Since you already get 5 AP (?) when winning, how about 7 in total and 3 for betters?

Well in cases like that the Pvp winner would have complaints and wouldn't want spectators because no spectators would then = more ap. o.o;
