I really doubt this is going to be as easy as it appeared... There's still much to be revealed and done before Aizen is ultimately crushed or they will just ruin several promising looking branches of the story... or they'll just make up a new arch-villain out of thin air ... As cool as those last chapters look I'm starting to feel there'll be some dissapointment soon...

Anyway, as for the reiatsu Ichigo's Zanapaktou was slightly different too. Maybe he evolved to a being that releases no reiatsu or there's some trick there. Tatsuki too didn't feel him ... I guess we'll wait and see what happens(ed)

Its strange...But this definitely has something to do with the Hogyokou.
After all, Tessai said that he coldn't feel 'Reiatsu' from the Hogyokou.

It's just hilarious that Aizen didn't realize the significance of Ichigo not releasing reiatsu.

But how could it be from the Hougyoku?

1- Ichigo hasn't been haxed with the Hougyoku as far as we know.
1a- if he was, Aizen shouldn't be releasing reiatsu either
2- Tatsuki sensed strong reiatsu from Aizen, nothing from Ichigo

Hogyoku was created by urahara, Ichigo's evolution may be using hougyoku like effect that it developed on its own. Like everyone built tanks during WWII with fiarly same concept but some were just better...

After all the hogyoku Aizen has is not a god-created unique artifact. It was created by Urahara. And Urahara happens to be Ichigo's mentor and guide to the world of Shinigami and Hollows and induced his transformation... + daddy's help. And Aizen evolved out of fear for mere seconds while ichigo spent a hundred years bettering himself one would think Ichigo's evolution would be better done than Aizen's...

Everything Urahara did to Ichigo was fairly straightforward. It is more likely this hax has something to do with his roots.

-It was 3 months, not 100 years. Where did that idea come from?

And I'm sure we'll get lots of nice flashbacks during this fight, Shira :D

hmmm was it 100 days perhaps ? I vaugly remember Isshin saying something about a hundred ... not sure, must be my mistake there. I can hardly pay attention when I read the new chapters out of eagerness to see what happens and with all the sites being shut down I can't re-read chapters that are older than a month =/

I guess his roots wouldn't have been enough have Urahara not trained him. He knew about Ichigo's origins so it was probably his plan from the start. It's a combination of his roots and Urahara's doing

It was 2000 hours, or ~83 days/~3 months.


Indeed, Aizen/Urahara were responsible for him gaining his Shinigami/Hollow powers while still technically a human. *Aizen for ensuring Rukia went to Karakura and all that happened, awakening his powers which Urahara forced out of him, etc*
