Alternate Account Ideas

It would be kind of cool to have an alternate account to add more spice to the game but I understand that there are complications that could arise if this was allowed.
One of my ideas is that both of your accounts be linked so that you can't attack your alt raising your pvp count. Since the accounts are linked it should show on your main account who your alt is. It would be the same as seeing who your married to. The potential problem I see with this that two players could take turns killing each others alts. It would be up to mods to monitor things like this but because normal players can view each players alt they can help monitor things like this.
Please share your thoughts and ideas on how alts could be managed and made possible.
