i was thinking it would be cool if we could train ress skill like how we train moves if we can gain some by how long or how many turns we stay released

Chrom edit: Added poll to see how many people support. Make your choice carefully as you may not cancel and re-vote.

Training Res/Zan skill already lowers the cost per turn, thus making it so you can stay released longer. If you meant something different by this suggest perhaps you could clarify it a little bit more.

He means while you're released, you gain zan/res skill. I say no. Heck no.
People with low costs could just go in arena and do nothing but spam low-cost moves and stay released for as long as possible.

You can already train it like melee and spirit skill. This is not needed, so I say again, noooo.

exactly what i mean nao and thanks for your voice on the matter and pointing out a con xD

but what can you do about it low costs will just be low costs lol this helps everyone train ress skill a little faster since there are no boosts for it
by how much you can get each turn idk what it would be but it will be like training a moves are harder to train than others

i think you get a cost deservant of the ress that or just a unfortunate roll on bakai or se cost xD

This would be similar to gaining HSM skill every time you move on the battle map. Veto, veto, veto.

he means he's declining it. no, whenever you move on a battle map, you do not get HSM. there's already res/zan skill training.
If you add this, you may as well say to gain some melee skill every time you use a melee move.

well that will be useless against ai's xD i didnt mention any of the two with ress it actually makes some sense the more you use it the more efficient you can use it thats why I compare this to move training

I still vote no. Zan/res skill is not a move you can use over and over to train (which, there are move trainings too)

That'd be unfair to those with higher cost zans, seeing that people with lower costs can spam AL in arena while released to take advantage of it. o-o;

i already stated not all moves are easy to level so thats my reason and im sticking with it xD

i have a high cost so wont help as much unless maybe its made you gain a certain amount in first release and in second release you will gain more ress skill though either way some costs will be lower than others

I suggest you make a poll, go to your first post on this and create a poll for yes or no on this so we can more easily see the supporters and those against

Sorry, but I am going to have to say no too. I mean think about it... I can't stay released forever, but in a pvp I can stay released for a REALLY long time, so my reason is for me specifically... All I would have to do is fight about 3 times a day for a month, then I would have capped Zan Skill. If you made it low enough that me being released for 20+ turns wouldn't give too much of a boost, then it would be unfair to others since they can only stay released for 6-10 turns depending. Then again, if you made it so that 6-10 turns gave you a great jump on your Zan/Ress skill, again, I would be capped in no time. So yea... No.

But it has the potential to be hax, and no matter what the values are, those with a lower cost have a huge advantage over those with a higher one. For example, with the seat item and my low bankai cost of 207, I can stay released for a long time, but someone like Pantherlily wouldn't be able to keep up.

all thing will reach a end point so not entirely hax if all destinations will reach this endpoint but a idea clicked for it. How about a percentage of the cost for segunda/bankai factor in how much you can get for it say 3% of you first state/release current cost and 5% of bankai/segunda current cost into what you gain.
