The whole point of a barrier is to use it as one. Logically, you shouldn't be able to walk through it.

I interpreted the "everything i've seen" as mangas/anime o.o I haven't seen anyone normal pass through their own barriers unless the barrier itself was made to allow it o.o
never seen bleach characters walk through a barrier lol
as for the fire can still burn you o.o If I did a Byakurai and it was deflected back at me, I'd still be hurt wouldn't I? even if it was made from my energy XD

I've found few ways to pass through my own barrier a year ago, without teleport or anything. Well if you can figure out how to do it, I'm sure you'll find few more strategies to outsmart your opponent.. ^^/
