Official Guidelines and General RP Information [MUST READ]
This section is basically for those who would like a starting point, or an idea as to what the RP is in it's entirety. None of the plot or timeline need apply in your roleplays, but it is a creative thing to pay attention to if you're that sort of writer, as other reference-searchers might find pleasure in seeing mentions, jokes and so on about past events or otherwise tiny, unimportant facts.
Along with a General Plot description and basic timeline, you'll see rules.
These rules are to keep the peace, regulate post structure, and overall make sure everyone is happy and healthy and filled with...i dunno, cheezits. Or something.
In any case, please scroll below.
If you have a question feel free to post it and I'll be sure to reply as soon as I can.
If you have a suggestion or you notice an error, or you just want to say something about it that is not a question or suggestion, feel free to PM myself or Setoku and we'll hear you out through that medium. Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, onward to your adventure young souls!

The Plot: A General History & Starting Point for your OC!
:: The General Plot of WOB's Roleplay Boards ::
WoB RP is an AU Bleach Roleplay taking place far before the time of Sosuke Aizen's betrayel or Ichigo Kurosaki's birth. There are no canons here, and as such, the timeline and future is what your characters make it out to be.
Even so, one cannot deny the beginning. Far back when the first Hollow marched into the world of the living, killing a large quantity of humans and - because of what little a defense system there was at the time, - eventually grew into a force to be reckoned with. The first soul king decided that to regulate the sudden influx of souls, he'd have an army. This army would house the strongest spirits of the afterlife, and these spirits would be what the modern day humans call Grim Reapers; or, more accurately, Shinigami. Their mission was to purify those that were tainted by the original Hollow, and send their souls into a state worthy of being reincarnated. They were strong, brave, and wise beings who were sent to protect the dearly departed, and this system worked with little failure for many eons.
This era of peace ended in 1864, when a new threat was unleashed unto the world. This threat was known as the infamous Shinamori Clan. This clan, though now nothing more than a lost legend, was the first organized Hollow movement. Lead by a Hollow known as Lobo, and later by siblings Stray Wolf and Setoku, they raised armies and taught Hollows how to evolve passed Captain Levels. They were the reason Hollows became intelligent and formidable in combat, and this silent but ever brewing war lasted decades until one fatal mistake was made. The female decided that she would gamble her life on the edge of a Shinigami's sword - and she lost it on that of her brother's. Now, the way the legend has it, both siblings died in a heated battle but no remains nor sighters could confirm such act. The two may as well have disappeared, and with them, the organized strength of their army. The Shinigami too, left for a time, but it seems that even if he came back, it was much later and no one bothered to question him over whether the tale was true or not.
By the year 2013, all was right with the world.
Granted, Hollows still attacked the world of the living and Shinigami still rushed in to defend it. Vaizords made appearances, wars were started and ended under truces or death. The world itself was a balance of chaos and justice, and the threat of the Gotei Thirteen somehow being overpowered by an outside race was never again heard of.
That is, until now.
For some reason, the lesser Hollows are becoming organized again. Some even having leaders of different races such as Bount, Vaizord, and even Quincy. There are numerous incidents being reported to Squad Twelve concerning the rapid growth of Gifted Humans and infectious Hollow Attacks, but so far none of them seem to have any motive outside of the strange behavioral patterns.
Captains and Lieutenants both are losing their lives as they fight this new threat, and the Hollows are equally suffering loss, as their leaders seem to all have different motives and are ever shifting in terms of power. Such a faulty system wouldn't be called organized tactics if they hadn't shown such impressive results!
One thing is for certain, with the tense atmosphere of the earth and it's balance, there might be a coming blood war if things get too unbalanced, or worse.
If that was to happen, and you were apart of it...well, I hope you're on our side kid.

Updated Rules of WOB RP :: The Mandatory Ones
The Basic Rules of WOB RP
Realistic Expectations: Currently, this board is still for players who casually roleplay, or maybe have never done so at all. This being said, this little rule is being put in place to simply make sure all members who participate know what to expect here; First off, we're all humans with lives to live and bills to pay. The board itself runs on the free time of two staff who run other things besides this - including a household. Members, freelancers, and so on can only do so much to keep the board active and up to par. If you notice something out of place or you think a staff or member forgot a thread - or have a suggestion, please try to be cordial and give the rp-staff/or needed member a heads up. We all make mistakes and sometimes it's easy to forget a thread every once and awhile!
Rule Numero Uno: This is a freeform roleplay until decided otherwise through member suggestion or staff decision. You do not have to make a character application. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean you can make a character with all the powers of the universe and have them without any flaw. This includes characters such as Ichigo Kurosaki (who can be revived no matter what,) or instances like Ulquiorra Schiffer (who remained unscathed until his final battle). We aren't saying that Bleach is and/or isn't unrealistic, we're saying that because this is officially a no-app RP, you need to be aware of the character you are writing for the sake of having a quality thread and not being reported. If you don't think you can be aware of your character, then I highly suggest you write up a quick app anyway just to have a reference sheet to look back on.
Rule Two: Canons are nonexistent here. This means that Original Characters - your characters, - get the spot light. It's okay to draw inspiration from Bleach Characters, but making a cardboard cutout of a cosplayer magazine is a huge no-no and will be met with a couple warnings before some action is taken. Also, when it comes to originals; we encourage things to be mentioned if the time applies for it,such as flaws, past, fears, and so on. Character growth and motivation is highly encouraged, and much more fun than simply swinging a zanpakuto everywhere.
Rule Three: This RP Board runs on liquid time, so having as many threads as you want anywhere in the world (or out of it,) is A-OKAY with us! However, try not to get too crazy, for instance, let's not jump around a hundred thousand years into the future where your charrie is dying if your character is currently having tea with their best friend. It's confusing, a bit pointless, and overall mood killing for your rp partners. Make sure the threads at up without too much of an age-gap and you should be fine. If you're not happy with liquid time, it's also okay to date your threads in the dates you want them to take place, which could also help you and your rp partner out in the long run.
Rule Four: Respect every member of this site, even Stray. Yes, we know she's an -I am a loser-, but she has a heart of gold under that dirty fur- AHEM! Sorry about that, someone stole the mic. Anyway, please show a cordial attitude to your fellow members. You don't have to give them your respect and kiss their shoes and smile at every word they have to say (you know I don't so why should you?) but giving an open ear and an open mind is always appreciated, and intentionally starting fights without any indication of the debate being a joke, is definitely not okay. While some members may get more rowdy than others, it's better to alert them that you do not appreciate their behaviors, or send them a pm and talk over the issue. If you are uncomfortable with this, me and Setoku are here for a reason, and we'll protect you from the bad evil little munsters. We suggest screen-shotting the offending things, as well as a screenshot of you trying to calm them down - assuming you tried at least once beforehand. This way, we have evidence and a valid reason to crack down out mod-powers.
Rule Five: Godmodding, Powerplaying, Omnipotence, Mind reading, etc are all not allowed and will not be tolerated during roleplay. While a certain amount of prediction and power is allowed - there is a line and if you cross it, you'll receive a warning. If done three times, you'll receive a temporary ban from the RP Section. If done again after the temporary ban, you will have a permanent ban. If you do not know what any of these are, I shall explain...
God Modding: I'm sure a lot of experienced roleplayers know what this is, but for newer recruits, I'll give the explanation. It is basically making a character or starting out with a character who can automatically under no circumstances be harmed, damaged, killed, or otherwise flawed. Outside of creation, they can be in general threads. For example, a character who has never played a musical instrument suddenly becoming the master of a piano. Or how about a RP Partner avoiding, dodging, and countering every attack with no rational explanation as to how they survived that barrage of bala's coming at them from all angles. It's horrible roleplay, a bad use of creative talent, and overall no fun to engage with. We as staff, do not tolerate this in any way.
Metagaming: Metagaming is using knowledge you've read and having your character know that knowledge despite the fact that there's no way they could know such a thing in the roleplay. For example, let's say that the characters Stray and Setoku are having a brawl. If Setoku were to know from OOC (out of character,) conversation that Stray had a weak spot at her neck, but the IC (in character,) Setoku did not know this at that time, it would be completely absurd that the IC Setoku would suddenly start aiming for the neck right after OOCly hearing said weakness without further rational or reasoning. As another example, let's say Character A and Character B are fighting. Charrie A has a weakness for his dead wife as stated in his app. Charrie B suddenly has an illusion Kido to summon Charrie A's dead wife to scare him. There is no way Charrie B would know this, or know what the wife looked like for that matter. These two examples are clear cases of Metagaming and are definitely not tolerated. Whether you know a character or not doesn't mean your character does.
Power Playing: You wanna know what Power playing is? Okay. Here's an example. I'll introduce you to Youkai! Don't worry she won't bite...I think. Anyway, Youkai is rushing to bash Stray's skull in. In the midst of her rush, She decided to use her claws to do this. The problem? Well, if it were powerplaying, it would be written as this: "Youkai rushed in and tore Stray limb from limb before the arrancar could blink, watching her fall to the ground in a bloody mass of yucky red organs and sass." Don't see the problem yet? You cannot control an opponent's reactions to your character's decided actions. Ever. It is against the rules, first of all, and is completely unfair. Instead of the example, what should be written is this: "Youaki rushed towards Stray, claws outstretched in attempt to rib her limb from limb. If she were to succeed with this, the arrancar would be defenseless and bleeding out, and the former Hollow Queen would be victorious. Free to do as she pleased." This is acceptable because it does not directly state that the opponent was hit, nor does it state that Youkai even got close enough to do the deed. When in combat, you always describe the intent, and the repercussions of This way, the opponent can counter or fall victim to the environment and poor planning.
Rule Six: Does WOB RP have ratings? YES. However, if you're smart, you can get by them. Here on WOB RP, we go by a rating of PG-13. RP style? 2/3/2.
Language: 2 (Cursing, swearing, etc is aloud, but let's not fill an entire post with it)
Violence: 3 (Everything from organ splattering to the horrors of eating a healthy meal)
Sex: 2 (It's PG-13. Don't be graphic, fade to black when it gets too graphic, and you're golden)
Follow these guidelines and you won't have a problem.
Rule Seven: We have no activity checks or activity expectations. This is a freeform, do it yourself rp with minimal rules outside of general guidelines and unforced timeline. We will delete your character ranks if you go inactive for more than three months, but you'll still be able to reclaim them through rp if you return; This is merely so everyone gets a chance at the goods.
Rule Eight: You must have the Creator's permission first before killing off their character EXCEPT, if the character on death row has passed two strikes on safely escaping the threat of possibly being killed. For example, if a Shinigami who just joined the academy attacks an arrancar of espada level, and is given two rational chances to flee and spare his own life, but chooses to remain cocky for whatever reason and continue to fight - then after those two clear chances, the Arrancar is free to kill said Shinigami off WITHOUT PERMISSION so long as the member messages the other stating that they gave the character the chances when the post with the clear choice to run or fight is given. Once the character is forcibly killed, they cannot be ressurected in any way unless they were reincarnated through bleach logic and lived the life of a human first. UNLESS the killed character was a hollow slain by a quincy. By Bleach logic, quincies eradicate everything about a hollow, so they may not reincarnate.
You must adhere to these rules.
They are one of few things forced on you guys.

Extra Rules :: The Non-Mandatory Ones!
Fun: People write, roleplay, and generally goof around on sites for fun. They come here to relax, create and enjoy writing. They do not work here. They are not paid to entertain. They are not on the clock to dish out posts and plot. Please remember that this is a place for fun, and nothing more.
IC & OOC: Remember that while characters are creations of the mind and hold personal aspects of what you care for or what sorts of characters you love the most, they are not you, and drama between roleplay and the people writing should always be kept at a bare minumum. I love plotting and dramatic stuff as much as the next writer, but that doesn't mean I go down to Setoku's house and try to actually threaten him just because my character threatens his nearly 24/7. Please, keep the drama in threads.
Respect Each Others Creations: All characters should be respected and treated as you would your own character. Everyone loves their characters for one reason or another. so let's not try to have the "My character is better than yours" debate. It's a waste of time and could be seen as bullying, and intentional bullying (as in, after being asked to stop the act that could be seen as offending,) is not tolerated here.
Whining/Begging/Hounding: If members or staff aren't giving you what you want, or simply cannot do what you requested, let's not have a fit about it. Assuming the staff or member in question has stated they cannot do something, the best thing to do is just go with the flow and hope for something better along the way. Perhaps they'd be willing to discuss the plot or request with you in order to make it more acceptable for them. It's always worth a try.
Problems: If you have an issue, always go to the RP Mods first. If they are unavailable, try to pm them anyway and see if they get back to you. They most likely will if they have the time. If you have a problem with the two RP Mods in question, pm the one opposite to the issue and that one will handle the situation with the other so you need not get your hands dirty. If you have a problem with both, bring the problem to the head mod. If you cannot do either of these things, only then contact a staff outside of the rp boards. Game staff are very busy people and should not be bothered if the situation can be handled responsibly without their handling it.
If your problem is with a fellow member's post, behavoir or otherwise, look to the rules above, as the things to do are covered there.
Devouring/Killing/Time: There is no power-up for devouring characters, killing characters, or roleplaying a time lapse. Your character cannot go around eating others to claim more "strength". Your character gets no power up from killing others either, and will not "evolve" if they slaughter another character. Roleplaying them as a student shinigami in one thread and then claiming them to be of captain level in a large time lapse is also not allowed, and is considered to be godmodding.
This however, does have a few loop holes. For example, if your character has a zanpakuto that temporarily boosts their power a bit by killing NPC's for extra strength - then this can be done sparingly, and must have a draw back equal to it's gain. If your character kills a character as apart of a personal plot where it was determined in that moment they'd become stronger, and this plot was built up, then yes, they may gain that power then. If you have roleplayed a character for a long time and have history built on a character, and they have no current threads, then there may be a time lapse so long as you can explain what happened before hand and produce records of roleplaying them in weaker states.
Vasto Lorde: Vasto Lorde's are rare. Most hollows become Arrancar during Adjuchas or Gillian state, so please keep that in mind when having your hollow be of Vasto Lorde type. It is a very high level, and you must provide extensive history for that character to be able to roleplay such a character efficiently.
Location : You cannot have a personal/private thread in places your character does not initially belong in. For example, if your character is a Sinner, they cannot enter the world of the living without hiding their presence, and even then, they cannot avoid attack of a local shinigami who's job would be to send them back to hell. In vice versa, a Shinigami cannot have a personal thread in Hueco Mundo and not expect to be attacked by a hollow character, as they generally do not belong there normally. Same for trespassers of Hell being attacked by the Guardians, and so on and so forth.
Location Rule Exception One: If your character has a rational reason for getting passed being attacked under normal circumstances, such as being strong enough to mask their spiritual pressure, then they may bypass this rule until a Shinigami spots them or they're forced to somehow go back, or choose to go back. For nuetral Sinners or Arrancar that are on the Soul Society's side, they will need to request a specific badge in order to prove that they are trusted by the Gotei Thriteen. If they do not roleplay getting this badge, then they can and will still be seen as a threat by patrolling shinigami.
Claiming Ranks & Responsibility: Your character may claim an un-taken rank provided they fit the requirements of the rank they want. Afterwards, you are expected to be more active than normal - at least posting twice a month in order to keep the rank. One of these posts must be related to your rank and it's position on the WOB RP Universe. This applies to all ranks, and none are automatically given. Speak with a staff to earn and claim your character's rank.
Autoplay: Describing what your character does via a youtube video, gif, or other media is prohibitted. You must write out the action. This is a roleplay, not a video sharing site.
Thread Tags: Thread tags are basically something to let a fellow roleplayer know you want their character to specifically make an appearance in the thread. This can be a private tag, with just your character and their own, or an open one including the request. Thread tags may also be one-shots with you merely writing your character's progression out, or open, allowing anyone to join. While tags aren't necessary, they are helpful to let others know your intention in the thread, and also lets them know if they're welcome to join. If a thread has no tags, it is automatically considered open to any and all that want to reply.
Bumping: Bumping is used to promote your post so that it appears as active to others. This is normally done to threads usually unseen or otherwise ignored for whatever reason. You can only bump a thread after ten days. Doing so lets others know it's still available, and you may only do so if it hasn't received it's first reply.
One-Upping: Please don't have character competitions and try to describe how amazing your character is to others. Thank you.
Not Safe For Work: Basically, no nipples, reproductive organs, underwear shots, heavy gore, very sexually suggestive images, etc. If we see it, you get banned from the rp board immediately. This is because the rp rating is known in the mandatory rules, and it's common sense to assume this stuff isn't allowed.

Breaking the Rules :: Consequences
:: Consequences For Breaking Rules ::
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: 2nd Warning & Temporary Ban.
3rd Offense: 3rd Warning, & 2nd Temporary Ban
4th Offense: 4th Warning, Temporary Ban and Demolished Character
5th Offense: Permanent Ban
Disrespecting Staff is grounds for a ban in some situations.
Notice: This system is not set in stone. Most cases are dealt with on an individual's basis - and what might be only one warning would become an autoban - or vice versa. This is mostly a guideline for members and staff in order to keep punishment fair for general occurrences, as we know mistakes and misunderstandings can happen. That being said, not all offenses will be seen as a rule breaking, and not all rule breaking will be handled in a concrete way. Just try and be careful and you should be okay.

Posting Rules of the RP Board
We don't have a large expectation, but we do have some general posting rules to keep threads clean, readable and enjoyable. Please read and follow them.
General Posting Expectations:
- "Text Talk" is not allowed.
- Grammar, punctuation, and spelling are required here. We don't expect every word and every sentence to be done perfectly, but we expect effort.
- Do not post in 1st person, and please try to give a post with detail and dialogue. We don't need a novella, but try to give what you can to move the thread along.
Post Requirements:
- Each post must contain 50 words or more. This is not at all negotiable. This may be freeform, but that doesn't mean you can insert your character shrugging and saying something, and it's acceptable. I promise you writing fifty words isn't hard. You probably write more in your average Facebook status or angry youtube comments.
- Each post must contain actions and reactions. You must acknowledge the other character and what they do, and have your character react to the necessary things that your character would notice or be affected by. This is the basics of roleplaying and should not need to be told, but it's worth saying anyway.
- Try to give your rp partner's character something to react to, even if it's small. This helps a lot more than you'd think!
Posting Order: If you're rolplaying with more than one partner, then the posting order is established when the last person of the group posts. Then, the order of the first set is given for the rest of the rp, and everyone gets a chance to react and act after. If your character for some reason cannot act, you may OOCly ask to be skipped until your character can act.
Common Sense For Fighting: When it comes to fighting, it is our rule to operate on a "Take-Give" system. This way both characters take a certain number of hits, and tact can be involved to see who is the winner.

Banned Abilities :: The Limited, Restricted, and Off Limits
One Hit Kill Poison Powers: A poison that automatically kills a character with no chance of survival is not allowed. If your character has it, they will be deemed unplayable by the creator until adjustments are made to the ability. Think Soi Fon, not FMA. I suggest giving as much detail to your characters ability so they cannot be Godmodded or misunderstood.
Absolute Mind Control Powers: Controlling another person's character is considered powerplaying. Unless the mind control has limits, like the poison powers, then it is officially deemed unplayable until adjustments are made.
Controlling Blood: "Blood Bending" is like poison also. Absolute control is not allowed, but with loop holes and flaws, it can be. See above.
Absolute Powers: Powers that are completely unstoppable, unavoidable, or otherwise a one hit kill or one hit critical no matter what is completely off limits. For powerful attacks think Ulquiorra's survivable and deflectable Cero Oscuras, not the Mugetsu.
Note: Staff have the full right to say whether or not your character's abilities are okay for an rp setting. If they say they need more detail, then it is your right as a writer to give them such. It's that, or pick a new ability. I suggest looking up things such as Super Powers Wikia, as they usually list flaws and limits for a power, and almost any power there could be incorporated into your character.

This is so those who are in power earn it, and are not corrupting it for selfish gain. It also gives something to work towards, and helps members gain experience along the way by encouraging them to roleplay with each other in and out of the board.
All that said, even with everything presented, Staff may ask for more. Especially if it's a higher position, so expect to be tested on that regard.

The Timeline of WOB RP (WIP)
In this section, you'll see any noteworthy events that took place in the WOB RP Universe. If you feel that you made an event that can be submitted, simply pm myself or Setoku with this prompt:
Time: What dates/time did your events happen? From --- to --- ??
Title: Do you have a specific title or forboding name you want to give it?
Summary: A summary would be needed. Please look at any of the few events below to get an idea of what we're talking about.
And it will be added shortly after review.
Note: Because the dates and times concerning WOB RP are so unorderly, expect changes to be made. This is by no means a perfect set up, but it is the patch work for one in the future.

The First Soul King Appears
It is unwritten when the Soul King first became, but it was said to have appeared from a noble family who inhabitted soul society some thirteen billion years ago. The child, Akira, was deathly ill and was receiving treatment by a talented rags-spirit. Durring the healing process, the child was put under excruciating spiritual strain, so much so that his Spiritual Pressure sky rocketed passed what was thought to be possible for a boy of his age. Around that same time, his zanpakuto spirit appeared, and silently yanked the boy's soul into himself, absorbing the child's physical body in order to save and aid him in further times of need. Ever since then, the residents of the small villiage proclaimed him king, seeing him as a spiritual god - as they did not know what a Zanpakuto was or how he managed to survive.
He ruled over them with a sound mind and a wise, genuine heart.
He was sure to be a good, healthy king.

Unknown Time
The Soul King's Reign
Akira did his best to rule, but found it hard to rule an ever populating villiage all by himself. He set out to hire the first of what is now known as the Royal Guard. Hand picked out of all the available soul's, Akira used his Embodied Zanpakuto to transform them into capable protectors, defendors, and voices under his reign. Soon afterwards, the Guard handled the lesser affairs, leaving him time to deal with the major ones, such as population and goverment.
Developing Districts
After years of watching the Society fight over who owned what, and who's family was who's, the Soul King decided the best matter to settle it would be dividing the people in order to allow them both freedom, eqaulity, and ownership. The Noble souls would live in what would be called the Senkaimon, and the rest of them would live in one of eighty-two districts surounding the Senkaimon. This way, not only would the strongest souls be protected, but the weaker would grow eqaully as strong by learning to fend for themselves and develop community.
It was around this time that Akira had forgotten half of himself was made up of a Zanpakuto's spirit.

The Living and their Society
While souls had matured and learned much faster - not being restrictive to reality and it's limitations as far as what their physical brain could take in, - the primitive human shells only just started creating the first earthly society. The nomads began a steady population, and the greed of humanity began showing itself in large numbers soon enough.
Four centuries later...
The first Hollow
When a Human soul could not find peace on it's own, it became a monstrous creature that devoured other dead souls and killed humans to get more. It was dimwitted, slow, and rather clutzy. When the Soul King learned of this threat, he set out to take care of it himself. Upon confronting the beast, he learned it possessed supernatural qaulities like himself, making him feel jelous and challenged. Durring combat, he heard a voice in his head, and it told him to outstretch his palm. Upon doing so, a strange symbol appeared, and the hollow that was once raging towards him became a glowing light slowly flying upwards.
Akira learned that he had the power to erase the existance of such strange monsters.

The Soul King's Epiphany:
After having defeated the first wretched creature, Akira noticed the difference in soul accumulation. After consulting his Royal Guard, he began to piece together how deeply connected the human world and the spirit world was. Growing curious, he decided to secretly visit the human world and watch the humans within it. The low class individuals soon made him very bored however, and so to make things livlier, he began to give hints to the important ones, in hope it would advance the others along.
The Soul King's Folly:
Spending so much time in the human world left the spirit world unguarded. The soul king idavertently triggered the demise of over a hundred souls and before long, he was blamed for the unjustice done upon to the ones who bore witness. Akira was then challenged, but no soul in the realm could match his spiritual power. Angered, Akira quickly went from benevolent ruler to cruel, and decided to leave the realm in the charge of his royal guard. Akira, fleeing into an abyssal trench in the sky, was never seen again.
The Rule of the Royal Guard:
After Akira's disapearence, the Royal Guard were left in the charge of the realm of the spirits. However, Akira did not leave them without aid. Plunging his fist into all four of them, he was able to transfer some of his spirit energy into them, making them the first ever Shinigami. Their job was to maintain the Spiritual Realm and give more order outside and inside of the districts. Peace keepers, though they tried to be, the residents did not see it as an improvement. With the countless deaths and accidental attacks, the ballance of the spirit cycle was thrown even more off course, and while the Shinigami Enforcers didn't know it yet - this would be the catalyst for a lifelong battle to come.

The rise of powerful souls
The royal guard, though spirits like any other, still had humane urges. Some fell in love, others, enjoyed the pleasures that didn't require romanticism. However they ended up, usually with time, those they wed (or bedded,) produced children. Those children inherited the ability to develop their own spiritual power, and with time, they would recognized as capable fighters next to their fathers, and later on even grandfathers.
After another thousand years, most of them had been populating the districts as to add a few more branches, and even then - with how unballanced the reincarnation cycle was, it was hard to maintain order no matter how semi-usual it was to have special abilities. This was when the original Guard had an idea to end the growing era of tension between the nobles and district residents, and provide an order that would make their soul king proud.
They would ignite an elite sqaud, and this squad, like the soul king - would monitor the human world and give ballance and peace to their lands.
Ridiculous as the ideal might be, Akira showed his approval to the highest officer. This was enough to ensure that the plan was in motion, and all the guards - originals and new, - made the first squad of what would later be known as the Gotei Thirteen. Of course, the residents of both sides were still very wary, but there was no large scale rebellion and eventually, the residents saw it as a way to gain nobility and live in the highest echelons of comfort...should they try and work for it.
There was one soul who made the first grand step, recognized for his awesome power and spiritual pressure, he was given basic training and ethics classes. He was tuaght about the monsters of the living, and how it was important to understand and maintain ballance. He was given the mantle of Squad one, and began founding the entire Gotei Thirteen. This man's name was changed that day, to Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Later, more captains followed suit, and within time there was small squads with them. The royal guard, who were once unrivaled, now were no better than any other. It was time, they decided, to request the soul king welcome them to his domain...and the Gotei Thirteen to rule.
The request was granted.

The First Rogue of the Gotei 13
First captain of the third squad, Hiroshi Irazuka, defected from the rising Gotei 13 only a year before it opened it's Spirits Academy. Due to his trecherous acts he became the first enemy of the Gotei Thirteen and was once viewed as the most dangerous threat. Now, Hiroshi is a forgotten legend, replaced by more sinister titles as time flows forth.

The Rising of Hell and it's Guardians
Now that Shinigami were of normal thing, and the districts and living world were at peace, things were finally seeming normal. However, a new threat soon appeared when a Shinigami killed a rather trecherous Hollow. The soul king opened way to a demension, declaring it a place for murderers and rapists, as to not taint his domain. This place was governed by fiery gates, and had great beasts guarding it. This was the first time a Shinigami got a look of what hell truly was.
Because Hell was so corrupt, Akira gave what he called Sinners a weapon or ability to use in order to try and defend themselves should they feel the Guardians need a lesson, however the soul king proved to be a sadistic breed, as it was only to crush their spirits more and make them cower under the Guardians might.
The Noble Clans
The Soul Realm was now under such an order and peace that more souls could live for longer amounts of time, much longer, and this allowed clans to form and pass on traditions; Such as the artistic and political skills of the Kuchiki Clan, or the martial combat and secrecy of the Shihoin Clan. At the time, they were little more than family gatherings and traditions, but soon they'd pave way for much greater strengths that would aid the soul society more than ever.

The Appearence of the first Menos Grande
While fighting a rather large horde of Hollows, the Shinigami managed to injure it's leader quite severely. This lead to other hollows turning on their own, resulting in an accidental feeding of each other, and what transpired...well, nobody expected a Hollow of such magnitude. The Menos Grande was something the Shinigami were not prepared for, and because of it's high spiritual pressure, they were easily cut down before it opened a Descorrer (Garganta,) and fled into the unseen demensions of Hueco Mundo. The report kept Shinigami tense after that, and the captains decided to train harder than ever before to atone the deaths of their comrades.
The newly evolved hollow did the same, devouring until it gained the intelligence to spread it's newfound knowledge to it's fellow breed, in hopes that it could one day formulate a plan and end the wretched beings that hunted them.

The Discovery of Zanpakuto Spirits and the awakening of Shikai
Having been given Asuchi swords since academy days, nobody bothered to use them, feeling Kido were a much more potent form to get rid of threats quickly. However, ever since the Hollow incident a hundred years ago, people took to training a lot more seriously. This resulted in many Shinigami learning of their zanpakuto, and training with them eagerly. Shikkai were discoverd within the stronger souls, and captains learned to unlock deadly skills which could take down any hollow that came their way. This was when Shinigami really started learning the extent of what they could do.
The Quincy Appear, and the war that follows
Shinigami have discovered the Quincy, and soon see them as comrades against the hollow threat. However, when Squad twelve discovers the true power of Quincy and how they cause the souls to be completely destroyed, the Shinigami try to negotiate hunting terms in order to keep peace. The quincy are outraged by the change, and the shinigami have no choice but to forge war between the former comrades, leaving the Quincy clans broken, dead or otherwise forgotten in later years.

Bankai is Discovered
With the training of the squads and the strain the quincy brought upon to the Gotei Thirteen, captains and luitenants were granted heightened power by their Zanpakuto in the form of Bankai. Shinigami now strived to reach this awesome power, in hopes it would allow them to protect their loved ones, their honor, and give them the strength to be captains themselves one day.
New Captains
All captains except Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, Retsu Unohana, Shunsui Kyōraku and Jūshirō Ukitake are replaced fifty years prior to the discovery of Bankai. The third division captain retired, and promotions are made to fill in the missing units. These positions are filled by captains; Shinji Hirako (5th), Ginrei Kuchiki (6th), Love Aikawa (7th), Kensei Muguruma (9th). The captain of the tenth division dies of a suspicious illness, and the one who is suspect - Sosuke Aizen, - is promoted to luitenant under Hirako's watch.
Aizen Hypnotizes Hirako and leaves a substitute in his stead.

The rise of the Shinamori Clan
A being known as Nikana Diri was given life, and while not much has been recorded of her, those who have made the effort to delve into the Shinamori History have found that this girl's name was changed to Youkai Shinamori about a hundred years later. Afterwards, she made her first appearence as the head of a human clan, kept together by seven street orphans who eventually grew into the most unpredictable family.
The fall of the Shinamori Clan
It all started when Stray decided to kill Lobo, the clan leader, who thought that killing a sister would bring peace to them. Then, years later, Setoku abandoned the clan for the Shinsengumi, along with a Kunoichi named Isabella. This left the clan without it's male role models, and Stray was forced to make up for it in both strength and work, leaving Youkai to see to the mothering of the younger members.
The death of the Shinamori Clan
After Eshilieth's health grew worse over time, falling into a depression-based illness, Stray set out to search for her traitor of a brother, eventually finding him at the throes of some lecherous Healer who went by the name of Shidaka Lyonin. The two of them travelled swiftly back - more so after Stray convinced Setoku to do so, - and they returned with the healer to try and save Eshilieth. Unfortunatley, the healer proved cowardly after Setoku secretly ended Eshilieth's life sparringly, and Youkai killed Stray after she promptly went insane. To further the chaos, Setoku went ahead and killed the others; Youkai and Jennifer, before taking Ivy and away and meeting with the Kunoichi. The throes of the clan burned that night, along with the house they'd tried to maintain over the years of being a family.
The death of Setoku Shinamori
Setoku of the bloodmist became legend in the Shinsengumi, along with his love Isabella, but alas, he met his end in attempts to kill a lord. Falling many stories, he broke his neck, and the moment he died...a wolven Adjuchas was waiting for him, along with another. They were Stray and Lobo.
The rising of the First Hollow Kingdom
Lobo ruled before any other hollow.
He was the one who maintained Las Noches, before there was castle or night skies.
The sand was red then, dyed with the blood of the many hollows that came after him.
Here, him and his family slowly cultivated the Hollow into an organized unit. The first army.
They made Arrancars by ripping off the masks of their comrades, and threatened the Shinigami time and time again, before a new threat emerged decades later.
1900-2001
The Shinamori Clan Returns
Hueco Mundo was the kingdom of Lobo, Setoku and Stray Shinamori.
Their armies were a force to be reckoned with, and no Shinigami was willing to set foot in the throes of their territory. No one except Jennifer South, or more accurately, Wolf Cub. Stray's little sister.
The girl had become a Shinigami, going through the correct Spirit Cycle, but she remembered her Shinamori roots despite fighting for more peaceful outcomes. Because of this, the Stray Wolf protected Jenn from danger, just as she did in her human life, and Jenn protected the hollow bretheran from being targetted by the soul society. This was how the Shinamori were so difficult to find or keep record on, and this was also how Stray met her untimely demise.
Love Triangle Arc & Family Reunion Arc
Emotional demise, that is.
About two hundred years after Jenn was found, and the peace was barely thin enough to ballance on a blade's end, Stray began to visit the Soul Society out of worry. There, she met Lyonin for the first time, who had been going over reports with Jenn. At first, the two were wary, but after they grew to like each other. That like eventually turned to love, and Setoku and Lobo feared the worse would happen. In attempt to prevent their faulty kingdom from falling, Lobo sent Setoku to kill off a few squads - Lyonin's sqauds - and sent Stray to clean up the mess, hoping she'd kill him. Instead, she hesitated, and Setoku intervened, dragging the famed Zero Espada back to Hueco Mundo with him after a slight scuffle.
This rebellion continued, as she would visit the Shinigami regularly, though only to eventually be broken down and challenged by Setoku. No one is sure what happened after that, but the eventual conflict ended in the Queen being overthrown, Lobo's death, Setoku's disapearence, Avathos's betrayed, Jenn's Defacto-reappearence, and Hueco Mundo's unbalance.
The rumor goes that sometime after the lovers found peace, Nikana Diri reappeared, sending the entire Spirit Sect into a frenzy of battles that were later wiped off the records to protect the Soul Society's pride. The truth has never been revealed...not to the ones that live on to tel it.

The Outcome of the War Against Aizen
Ichigo Kurosaki and the Captains failed to defeat Aizen and his Neo-Espada. However, after Aizen killed Gin and a large number of his army was defeated by the Gotei Thirteen, Ichigo took Aizen down using newly discovered abilities. Unfortunatley, this resulted in Ichigo Kurosaki's retirement, early demise, and all of the captains dying shortly after from wounds or emotional scarring from losing their friends.
The Gotei Thirteen was broken, and required new members.
Until they could find reasonable recruits to fill such large shoes, they requested fill-ins for temporary tasks.

As an example of the censors Stray speaks of; allow me to give an example!
Allowed: "Back in 2010, a man came up with an intelligent post in the wob social. He immediately pulled the attention of other writers and founded the rp board. Following this, he vanished to drink beer. Legend now states if you need an rp-board, all you must do is assemble two of the originals. They will do it, if they aren't drunk, and you can find them. They are.... The B-tea-..... I mean, RP-team."
Not allowed: (an example recorded in Setoku and Strays real life)
Stray: Shut the **** up, Setoku.
Setoku: Your lucky I put up with you Stray. You know I only do cuz you **** my **** so well.
Stray: Well, you know I love when you go down and lick my ***** and then **** my ***** then add toothpaste against my ***** episcapallion ***** parking ticket ****** and ****** light post ***** my *****.
Setoku: Yeah.... That **** is the best.
So there you go. Notice the main difference in those two examples. Analyze them carefully now. Did you see it?
That's right! Descriptive powers! Remember to use them, and your censoring will no longer be a problem!

Setoku....please...be a role model for once in your short flea life. v_v;
Seto Interjection: .....Stray, my dear, this is -ME- we are talking about. I'm not even a good role model for my son, why would I be one here? :P
Re-post: True enough. I forgot how eerily similar we are...
