July Jubilation - INFORMATION - READING COMPREHENSION TEST

You are to sign up for the July Jubilation tournament. Registration form is here: Tournament Registration
You must be logged in to sign up.


Further information will be posted here alongside instructions, so check here often. The tournament will be held on
July 16th and it will last until all fights are finished. The time will be extended as needed.
You must sign up before July 13th! There will be changes to the last time (March Madness tournament), but the basics are the same.

• All ranks (except Human, Student, Devouring Beast) are eligible to join.

• Winner of each go will be determined by 2/3, (3 rounds meaning 3 fights, must win at least 2).

• The fights will be fought with full pools and full health. That applies to all rounds (all fights).

• Top 1-4 of each tier will get prizes depending on the amount of participants.
  
  
• 30-minute break between each fight (not between the rounds).
  
  
• You won't be able to change your scheduled time after you have first decided on it.
  
  
• If you resign from the tournament by not appearing to your shceduled fight, opponent automatically moves on. We won't begin re-scheduling the fights just because someone chickens out or doesn't feel like participating after all.

The scheduling of fights will be done by you guys. We will have pre-determined time slots for you to choose from, so it's up to you and your opponent to choose a time when you both will be on to fight. First come, first serve. The time slots will be posted after the registration is closed. You will have three days to decide the time slot. There will be a chart of the brackets with the names of the contestants and their opponents in order for you to see who you are fighting against.

And yes, there will be prizes, even this time. The prizes from past events will receive their effects once Lsm has coded them.


Rules:

1. If you are not online / stand around in battle (the whole time), you will be disqualified. We will wait for a few minutes if our schedule allows to in case you have been disconnected, but we won't shift the fights just because you aren't online and failed to notify in time about it.

2. If there is battleholding (moderators will judge it), the opponent who did not battlehold will automatically be declared as winner for that round (2/3 round -rule).

3. Any glitching will lead to immediate elimination from the tournament.

4. If you attack your opponent before given a permission to (Global Message), the opponent will automatically be declared as a winner for that round (2/3 round -rule).

One question o-o; When you say Battle Holding, will the Battle Holding be judged based on how written in the Rules or as interpreted by a staff member?

So many ways to call battle holding though. What if my opponent has a 7.3 and I only have a 6.3 would me moving out of his range not allowing him to get first hit count as BHing? Would hit and run be considered battle holding? meaning I hit you you hit me I move away you move in range I hit you and then you hit me until match is over be considered BHing? Would I hit put up a barrier and hide behind it until your pools are low/gone be considered BHing? Would waiting until the other play moves in as in both players standing around be considered BHing? Would using CPR and putting up barriers and moving around the barrier on the grid to allow CPR to stack up be considered BHing?

Battle holding will be enforced the same as it presently enforced by the mod staff. If you want to discuss what should be considered battle holding, that's fine, but it should be in a separate thread.

There will be separate tournaments for hollow-hollow, shinigami-shinigami and shinigami-hollow.

I'm in New Zealand and we are a day ahead of the northern hemisphere on the calander, so will I have to sign up for your saturday meaning my sunday? Its Friday the 6th today if that helps

No. The game has its own timer and date to go by so fights will be scheduled game time ..

I think you mean New Zealand being in the Eastern Hemisphere is is a day ahead of the Western Hemisphere. You need to get your geography straight. North and South only effect seasons, east and west effect times.

To eliminate confusion, there will most likely be a single elimination, at least for now. Losers' bracket may be held after the actual tournament, but with our limited amount of time - and nerves - we will go with single elimination for now.

Might be a stupid question but how do u judge who won the fight?
is the winner/loser suppose to message someone?
