More of Arctics crazy, halfbaked ideas from the loony bin have arrived through the haru express mail! And so we go.

Prestige mode, some of you have heard of this from the 3078578857923857 call of dutys that have been made, sadly only 8 or 9 have been released to the public. So what does this have to do with World of Bleach? Im just crazy enough to tell you. It seems to me that the top ten might be getting bored and thinking of restarting which wastes all the time and effort put in the game, so i offer this solution. Allow the option to prestige (will be explained in a moment to those that might not know) in this instance.

Prestige means that you may start over whilst keeping certain things. I thought of this, but again just a suggestion.

Stats are reset, but logged in. SO that whatever you gain, is added on to whatever you already had, increase the amount of exp needed to level, and allow the option to return to the previous rank when rank 8 comes out, or allow them to continue their prestige. Maybe think of special offers for prestige or something the like. New name than prestige is needed so my idea isnt an entire copy cat thing. But know, I flee back to my straight jacket. XD

Contribute, which "certain things" would the people that go prestige keep? His will it benefit them? And will this cause imbalance?

its really more of a new rank if you think about it this would only work if it was the last last rank

I like the "restart" concept; I've restarted twice, and both times brought back some of the needed spirit of a gamer to keep playing. I'm sure few other "restarters" agree, more or less.

Note: If Quincy and whatevertheotheroneis, Vizard (?) will ever be added, this could be one way. Yes yes, it's been said a few dozen of billion times they won't, but just throwing it out there. Would give people an additional reason to rank up and up and up instead of holding.

Yes now if this prestige meant players could become another race like vizard or vasto lords it would be cool though I would think being able to remain human should be implemented.
Like you can be human, reach level 100 like both races and still have an option to become a hollow or shinigami

Then we can all have variety though one thing. When going prestige players keep experience. Making leveling to 100 in prestige or prestige + even more awesome chi

Human
Quincy Student
Quincy Soildier
Elite Quincy
Master Quincy

I think i misunderstood.. i thought arc meant they would keep their old stats but restart as a new race.. Thats why i asked about the pvp.. My bad..

If you mean just having a new race as something that those who reach level cap can play with, while still keeping their old character.. Yeah, that would be kinda cool..

I, too, am well-aware of what he has said of the new races - how they will not be added. Yet this suggestion has merit for capped endgame players (if WoB will reach endgame). Since it won't happen for a good while, possibly more than a year, might as well keep this suggestion as a possibility for future concepts and additional tweaking.

Good way of preventing people quitting after capping.

Elfsbane: If they restarted by keeping their old stats, the regular players would, bluntly put, be majorly screwed. Rank 10 'restarting' as a rank 1 Quincy with rank 10 stats? Yeah...

What they could keep in my opinion is everything else but stats, moves, seat titles, squads and their First and Second Releases (uh oh, complaints from the rich and fabulous incoming!). And possibly something else in case I'm forgetting something important...

Experience could be kept if the experience requirement for new races can be altered to be race-specific.

When you change your race, you keep errything but the releases. o/ And these wouldn't be available for race changing; one would have to reach endgame in order to play as a new race. And before that they'd have to finish everything as a human. D: Actually, could kick the whole race changing if this was implemented.

The only thing the rich and fabulous would technically lose is the percentage, not their whole custom.

They would have to revamp their customs; unless if humans/vizards/quincies with zans and resses wouldn't be a problem to themselves. But ah well, more money.

Could they be totally reset only have a slight training boost and slight cap increase for their specialty? for example Melee skill could cap at 25000 instead of 23000 at rank 4, so its like their uber strong soul has gone through the human/death cycle once more and gotten a little bit stronger, normal players would be slightly disadvantaged but that kind of happens anyway when you roll for different strength Zan/res and it keeps the game fun. It would also mean normal players that won't rank up can still get killed by reborn players, added incentive for them to rank up and keep getting stronger so that the can reborn. Just an idea of how it could actually work.

first time reading through this and i like the idea but those special thing a magigs you get at lvl 41 and 81 could be called something else besides ress/release they used in the manga cant remr the name and wouldnt post it here to avoid spoilers lol

I approve of this idea. I can't even count how many times people have said they want another race so I think it would definitely make the game better and the whole prestige thing sounds good too because honestly, if I hadn't restarted I probably wouldn't be nearly as active as I am. Once you reach a certain point, it just becomes rather repetitive and boring like there is nothing left for you to do so I definitely feel that this would be a cool feature for people like me.

Hmm...Why not make it like the MMOs accounts? Use one account and add an alt. That way they keep their original character and can enjoy the alt while not being logged on simultaneously. Also by resetting won't the number of players at that rank be diminished greatly?
